Jody Hope Gibbons is a contemporary New Zealand painter from Matakana with works held in private collections here and internationally.

Jody was selected for the publication "New Zealand's Favourite Artists" Volume 2 and has been featured in lifestyle publications such as "NZ Life and Leisure" magazine.

Her current work explores the materiality of paint - it pushes the boundaries of traditional painting practice and techniques alongside mixed media techniques with rust, inks, leaf and varnish. While concerned with landscape and still life, her work is ever-changing and becoming bolder, colourful and more gestural.
