“Box of Birds” by Kirsty Gardiner includes birds native to New Zealand, some now extinct, and a cat-bird implicated in their demise.
The works are wheel thrown, slip cast and hand-made forms, incorporating high fired earthenware clay, textiles and ephemera, and assembled after firing.
